Mixed Pairs Event. Please purchase 2x event entries to form your team.
The comp is a fun event devised to showcase Stonelifting to the world and to show that anyone can take part. The comp is mixed pairs and either can be novice or open. There will be adjustments for novices.

EVENT 1
Point Accumulator
1 Points for wind
3 points for lap
6 points for chest
10 points for shoulder
14 points for press
Mens Novice 100kg
Mens Opens 124kg
Womens Novice 60kg
Womens Opens 75kg
2 min time limit for each in the pair. You can choose who's going first. Points will be added to give a total.
EVENT 2
15m Duckwalk 85kg (female) into 10m walking stones ( male ) - timed
Novice 95kg & 84kg
Open 120kg & 95kg
EVENT 3
Overhead stone putt 2 throws each. Furthest by each with be added together to give distance total
Men 18kg
Women 12kg
EVENT 4
Husafell tag team
Husafell to be walked 30m (15m course) by one competitor then tag your partner and they do the same. Timed.
Men 140kg
Women 90kg
Opens from floor

EVENT 5
Mathews stones
20m course (10m with turn)
One 103kg attached by 2.2m chain to one 66kg
Men lift the 103kg women lift the 66kg
Both stones must cross the 10m line before going back (timed).
Which class should I enter?
- 1st Timers means just that - you've never participated in a stonelifting competition before: you may have competed in a strongman or strongwoman competition, just not McGregor games
- Beginners means no podium at any competition before
- Novice means you can have competed before, but absolutely no podium finishes in novice stonelifting or above - no age limitations
- Open is for anyone who has podiumed in a novice stone competition, however, any 1st timer, beginner, or novice can opt in to compete in Open (no age limit)
- Masters has a lower age limit of 40 on the day of the competition

General rules and information
- Kilts must be worn
- Competition tees are provided and must be worn for all events
- Strictly no tacky, tacky towels, stone sleeves with tacky, etc. Chalk only

All McGregor's competitions are held at Rhynd Fitness in Fife.
