Which class should I enter?
  • 1st Timers means just that - you've never participated in a stonelifting competition before: you may have competed in a beginners strongman or strongwoman competition, just not McGregor games
  • Beginners means no podium at any competition before
  • Novice means you can have competed before, but absolutely no podium finishes in novice or above - no age limitations
  • Open is for anyone who has podiumed in a novice stone competition, however, any 1st timer, beginner, or novice can opt in to compete in Open (no age limit)
  • Masters has a lower age limit of 40 on the day of the competition

If you have any doubts about which class to enter, please contact the competition organiser.
